“Behzad is not only the best real estate professional I have ever worked with, he is one of the best business relationships I have had the pleasure of building. He is extremely knowledgeable in regards to geography/location, price/value, and the entire process of buying or selling a home. However, it is Behzad’s ability to prove he is your asset and partner in the process that separates him from the rest…” - JTebben

The settlement here was once called Olema Station and was a port on Tomales Bay as well as the railroad terminus for the North Pacific Coast Railroad line that connected Cazadero to the Sausalito Ferry.

Sometime between 1875 and 1882 the town changed its name to Point Reyes, and the Point Reyes post office opened in 1882. In 1891, the town changed its name to Marin before later changing it back to Point Reyes, and then finally to Point Reyes Station.

When the railroad eventually left, most of the town’s population moved elsewhere. But, the town held on and even thrived, becoming a tourist stop thanks to the beach, the areas national and state parks, and the highway.

There are only 848 people in Point Reyes Station and the median income for the area is $57,292, low for Marin County standards, but higher than the national average.
